Why a Kenya Safari? ...It isn't Just the HOME of the Safari, it is the EPITOME of a Vacation in Africa
Why a Kenya safari? For a million reasons, Kenya holidays are incomparable. Here are a few: - Kenya is, literally, the home of the safari (the word "safari" translates as "journey" in Kiswahili – the national language here – and has evolved to encompass holiday expeditions to wildlife natural habitats and other exotic destinations which Kenya is also fabled for). So a safari here isn't just the real McCoy, it is the epitome of a vacation in Africa!
- The one-stop-shop safari experience this country offers will deliver beyond your wildest (yes, wildest) dreams. The sheer diversity of Kenya's animals and enchanting (and likely enchanted) landscapes will blow you away – as they did Bill Gates, Ernest Hemingway, Karen Blixen, Richard Branson and Princess Elizabeth - who was vacationing here when she became Queen of the UK over 5 decades ago

- A Kenya Safari - which is the most sought after safari holiday - will enable you to savor this country's amazingly sophisticated tourism infrastructure that runs like clockwork
- Kenya prides itself on a fascinatingly cosmopolitan population of over 40 African tribes while Asian and Arab influences have stamped their indelible mark on the country. In a sense then, a Kenya safari is a celebration of this rich cultural tapestry.

- Come and reignite the sportsperson in you by scaling the high altitudes here that have made Kenya a byword for athletic prowess – with Kenyan runners consistently bagging gold in international long distance races and breaking records the worldover

- Your vacation here will in fact be your homecoming. You see, archaeological evidence has confirmed Kenya as "the cradle of humankind." So, if you are keen on mapping your genealogy, a pilgrim to Kenya is a must – so that you can see, traverse and touch this incredible country that your ancestors inhabited 3 to 20 million(!) years ago
- Racial harmony – because of its history, economic vibrancy and the fact that it is the United Nations' headquarters in Africa, the country has a considerable white community which peacefully coexists with its African, Arab and Asian counterparts

- Kenya is one of the most politically and economically stable countries in Africa
- Come sip freshly brewed organic Kenyan tea or coffee that is world-renowned and will satisfy even the most discerning connoisseur
- You will feel refreshed after a Kenya safari which will magically transform you to realize your potential. Deep stuff? Not at all. Recent trips to the Maasai Mara, Mombasa and Nakuru certainly revved me up and inspired me to start this website.

Of course, there is a sting in the tail (and this is no wordplay even though this website covers Kenya's wildlife at length:-) as some of the roads to the leading tourist destinations are unbelievably dilapidated, manufactured items can be pricey here and you will be prone to nasty incidents if you dress flashily (but then again these are not endemic to Kenya!). However, you can safely eliminate the latter risk by avoiding the no-go areas which I will point out to you.Click on the links below to find out more about this beautiful country ...
